Terms of Service.
1. Parties
These Terms of Service govern the relationship between Umma Designs S.r.l. (hereafter "Umma Designs"), Via Tortona, 25, 20144 Milano MI, Italy, VAT IT07823450150, and any client ("Client") purchasing services through ummadesigns.com.
2. Services
Umma Designs provides digital product design services including Product Discovery Workshops, Interface Design, Experience Architecture, Design Sprints, Product Scaling & Optimisation, and Brand-to-Product Translation. All services are delivered digitally. Service scope, deliverables, and timeline are as defined per purchased service or agreed written brief.
3. Orders and payment
Orders are placed via the website and processed through Stripe, Inc. Payment is due in full before work commences. All prices are in Euro (EUR) and exclude Italian IVA (22%).
4. Delivery
Deliverables are delivered digitally via Figma (shared file access) and email. Timelines: Product Discovery (3–5 days), Design Sprint (5 days), Experience Architecture (2–3 weeks), Interface Design (3–4 weeks), Product Scaling (2 weeks), Brand-to-Product (2–3 weeks). Timelines begin from completion of the first session, not from the date of payment.
5. Revisions
Each service includes 2 structured revision rounds unless otherwise specified at purchase. A revision round is a single consolidated set of feedback addressing all deliverables at once, not a rolling series of individual comments.
6. Client responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing required materials, brand assets, access, and information in a timely manner. Feedback delays exceeding 5 working days may extend the project timeline proportionally.
7. Intellectual property
Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership of all project-specific deliverables (screens, exported assets, documentation). Umma Designs retains the right to display the project as portfolio work unless the Client requests confidentiality in writing before work begins.
8. Limitation of liability
Umma Designs warrants that deliverables will materially conform to the agreed brief. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total fees paid for that project. Umma Designs is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy.
